I've been thinking about doing this for a while and I'm so excited to announce my first ever WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY GIVEAWAY! All of the details on how to enter are at the bottom of the post - but first, here's a little bit about me so you know who you might be working with!

Hi, I'm Becca. I'm a fine art, natural light photographer who specializes in telling love stories! My images are full of light, beautiful brides, and gorgeous details that all come together to share your love and your story with the world. I hope to capture the butterflies you felt the moment you walked down the aisle towards the love of your life. The expressions on your parents faces as you exchanged your vows. The love you felt as your best friends toasted your new marriage. And the excitement that electrified you as you ran towards your getaway car at the end of the happiest day of your life. I have the greatest job in the world and I'm so blessed to be able to share it with my amazing couples!

• First of all, you have to be following me on Facebook and Instagram
• Share this giveaway with your friends by sharing a link to this post on Facebook
• Bonus: Share a photo of you and the love of your life on Instagram with the hashtag #BRPgiveaway
• Leave a comment on this post letting me know that you've done all of the above, and then send an email to becca@beccarillo.com with the following details:
  • Your names
  • Your wedding date - if you don't have a date yet, you must be able to provide one within 2 weeks of winning
  • Your wedding venue
  • Photo of the two of you together that best represents you as a couple
  • Tell me what you want your wedding to feel like - what style are you going for? If you have a link to your wedding Pinterest board (don't lie, I know you have one) share it with me
  • And your story! How did you fall in love?

Here's the not-so-fine print:

Your wedding must take place in 2016 and fall on a date not already booked by Becca Rillo Photography. This giveaway runs all month long and closes at 11:59PST on August 31st, 2016.

Winning couple will be responsible for all travel fees outside of the Los Angeles area (we'll chat) and Becca Rillo Photography will make all of the travel arrangements. (Don't worry, I won't book the Ritz)

Couples who have signed contracts with Becca Rillo Photography already are not eligible for this giveaway. On that note: you can not be contracted with another wedding photographer. That's just not cool.

A contract must be signed within 2 weeks of winning along with any travel fees (quoted within 1 week) that will need to be paid for the wedding date.

If for any reason the winning couple can not claim this prize, a runner-up will be selected! The giveaway can not be gifted, traded, traded for cash, sold, or otherwise transferred to another party.

Winner will be chosen based on multiple factors:

• The overall theme & style of your wedding
  • I want to make sure that my photography style will showcase your wedding in the best way possible. Chances are if you're getting married in a dark ballroom with no windows, I might not be the best choice for you!
• Your love story
  • Pull me in and get me by the heartstrings! I love a good love story!
• Your wedding date
  • You can't win if I'm already booked on your date, but that's a given..

Malibu Beach Engagement Session | Justin & Taylor

Taylor and I had planned for a beautiful beach engagement session and on the day of the shoot the weather could not have been more perfect. The drive down to this secluded beach in Malibu was gorgeous as I was winding through the canyons and over the hills and then - fog. I was literally 5 minutes away from the beach when fog rolled in off of the ocean and surrounded my car. I panicked for a hot second and then realized that no matter what it would work out and O. M. G. did it ever work out! The sun bounced off of the fog and lit up the ocean. Seriously, pure magic! It created this natural, one-of-a-kind glow that you can't fake even with the best photoshop magic... Add to that the crazy love that these two have for each other and you have a photographer's dream! (and can we talk about that dress?!) I've had serious style-envy of this girl since I met her at Brock & Kelly's wedding. She was rocking this amazing red dress and a sparkly necklace that made me keep reminding myself, look at her eyes not her chest, look at her eyes not her chest! Haha I'm SO thrilled that she reached out and I get to photograph her wedding next year! I'm incredibly blessed to work with the coolest couples!! Get the look! Taylor's dress is from Free People!

Santa Clarita Engagement Session | Josh & Nicole

You guys. All of my friends are getting married this year (or next year) and I'm seriously over the moon. Josh was the Best Man in my wedding and so we were pretty stoked when he started dating Nicole! Could this be "the girl", we wondered? And heck yes.. he put a ring on it. We're still secretly - or not so secretly - wondering if she'll realize that she's way too cool for Josh, but maybe he'll get lucky and she'll become Mrs. Aston in March! When they announced that they were tying the knot deep down I hoped that they would ask me to photograph their wedding. I would have been totally fine watching them from the crowd but this is SO MUCH BETTER! The control freak in me is super excited :)

Four Seasons Resort - The Biltmore, Santa Barbara Wedding | Curtis & Marissa

So this wedding is extra special because it's the wedding of my two friends, Curtis & Marissa. I mean, let's be honest - every wedding is a super special occasion - but this one in particular is close to my heart! I met Curtis when I was 16 and was opening up my first business account at Washington Mutual. He ended up being my financial dude, friend, photography buddy, and now neighbor over the years.. and I seem to remember crashing a Christmas party of his with his brother way back when. So knowing Curtis (my goofy, super chill friend), I assumed that Marissa would also have the same personality. I couldn't have been more wrong. This girl.. a total classic beauty, graceful, smart, funny, and soooo drop dead gorgeous that she was instantly intimidating to me. The two of them complete each other in ways that the rest of us will never understand. They love each other so unconditionally that I know they'll be one of the lucky few that make it to their 50th anniversary! Curt & Marissa, thank you so much for allowing me to play a part in your incredible day. I am so honored to be your friend and to be a personal witness to your perfectly imperfect love story! I love you both :)

Ollis Ranch Wedding: Joshua & Zalina

It seemed like it was going to be a scorcher of a day.. but Zalina & Josh's wedding ended up being absolute perfection. UP! Anniversary Photoshoot: Nathan & Sarah

So I'm sure you all know if you follow along with my little blog here - but Nathan is my younger brother :) I used to say "little brother" but I stopped growing in Jr. High and it wasn't long before he passed me up. He's been dating Sarah for 6 years as of last Tuesday so we decided to celebrate with an Up! themed photoshoot! It seemed appropriate because it came out the year they got together and also - who doesn't like Up? Actually me. I don't like Up. And not because it's not a great movie, because it is.. I just ugly cry during that opening scene every freaking time and it ruins my life thinking about Kyle dying or me dying or.. geez.

Oh my goodness, anyway! So here's what we shot last week :) Sarah's dad made this cute little replica house for us to use and we just went crazy with colored balloons! SO CUTE!

I am SO, SO happy for the new Mr. & Mrs. Cooper! Alex and I have been friends ever since her younger sister and I decided to be best friends back in High School. She has always been such a strong, independent woman and I couldn't be more thrilled that she found a man to take care of her so she can relax! Especially with the impending arrival of the little boy, Jameson - coming September 2015. These two make such a great team and I can't wait to see their little family grow! Private Estate Wedding: Jason & Jana

Jason & Jana got married at the most beautiful home I think I've ever seen in my life. When they told me originally that their wedding would be at the home of Jason's boss, I envisioned a typical backyard wedding. Yeeeeeah, no. Not at all. This home was absolutely amazing and was the perfect setting for this gorgeous wedding - sitting on top of a hill overlooking the rolling hills. I loved this soft color palate that Jana chose and it perfectly complemented her venue!

I met Maggie after one of my other fabulous brides, Melissa (check out the blog in October, you'll see her amazing wedding!), met Maggie while on the hunt for a dress to wear to her engagement session. Maggie was the sales girl and asked what Melissa was looking for. After a brief back and forth about needing a dress for a photoshoot, Maggie mentioned that she was also getting married and was in the middle of planning her big day as well. They chatted for a while and before you knew it, Maggie and I were getting coffee and talking about wedding photography!

I adore Maggie. I simply adore her. Her sweet spirit, her loving personality.. she is definitely a catch - and John caught her. Well, based on the Father of the Groom's speech, it actually sounded like Maggie caught John ;) haha This wedding was perfection and they couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate their love! I'm so happy for the two of them and can't wait to see the adventures that they'll have together as a family.

Newhall Mansion Wedding: Bryce & Lindsay

This beautiful wedding was mostly planned from the other side of the world! ...no joke. Lindsay and Bryce were living in Australia for a good part of their engagement! But even living super, super far away - they managed to throw the party of the year! Lindsay was flawless in her gown and Bryce rocked a tie that I think was made out of feathers. I'm so happy for the both of them and I can't wait to see what they do together on this continent haha

440 Seaton Wedding: Krystin & Sosa

This stunning, modern affair was my first wedding back from maternity leave - just 2 weeks post baby, post c-section, and not entirely sure what to expect my first wedding back! But this beautiful wedding reminded me why I love what I do - and how the perfect vendors all coming together can lead to an unforgettably epic evening. Not to mention my amazing team (thanks Megan & Alyssa!!) who carried my bags and let me take breaks when I needed to! The sweet simplicity of this wedding was perfection and Krystin was radiant in her lace gown. No detail was overlooked and the originality of the design (hello!! Fern wall!!) made it -hands down- one of the COOLEST weddings I've ever had the honor to be a part of. Check out the Vendor Love at the end of this post to see who all made this day possible!

Talk about a unique love story.. This is the second wedding for both Chris and Oliva... to each other! After being apart for nearly a decade, the two decided to once again tie the knot!! Congrats to both of them and thank you so much to Alyssa for capturing their special day while I was home on maternity leave!

These two pulled off a beautiful wedding in just a couple of months! Their friends and family pulled together to give them the day of their dreams.. and Curtis made the arch for the two of them to get married under - super sweet! Such a fun way to kick off my 2015 wedding season. Enjoy!

My Baby Shower! | by Mieke Photography

It's so rare that I'm on the other side of the camera! ..but for a party like this, I don't mind one bit! My husband and I are expecting our first baby sometime in March and we wanted our baby shower to be something extra special. You only have your first kid once, so we figured we'd go all out! The gender was still under wraps at this point so our master plan was to have our guests walk into either an overly blue party or a perfectly pink party. As you can see from the photos, we're going to have a baby BOY joining our little family!! Our puppy, Max, can't wait to be a big brother and I'm fairly certain my cats could care less.. We worked with my favorite vendors to make this event a one-of-a-kind soiree that we hope our friends and family remember for years to come! I seriously can't thank each of these people enough. They all worked so hard to make my party so special and I'm forever grateful!

My amazing friend (and talented photographer) Mieke of Mieke Photography came early to photograph all of the STUNNING details by the vendors below! I've said it before, but if you're part of the BRP Family then there's a good chance Mieke was at your wedding shooting right along side of me! I'm super lucky to have her in my life to capture my special moments!

Myra of Celebrate Flowers & Invitations did my invites and all of the gorgeous florals that not only smelled heavenly, but dazzled guests! I loved her idea to use the mercury glass throughout the space and the beautiful blue hydrangeas she found to announce my little man were simply perfection.

Billy of Oh Watta Night Entertainment kept the party going and let me add in as much Maroon 5 into the mix as I wanted! Haha I know I'm crazy, but they've been my favorite band since I was 13. Billy is a true professional and I'm so glad he was there to entertain my guests!

Can we talk about the AMAZING dessert bar?? My girl, Melinda, of CAKEgoodness knocked it out of the park for my amazing gender revealing dessert bar! She made me the perfect sign to clearly announce our little bundle and the cakes.. I mean, the photos will blow you away. I may or may not have eaten cake pops for breakfast these last couple of days.. Don't judge me: I'm pregnant.

Peter of PhotoTouchBooth was the highlight of the evening with his super fun Photo Booth! Not only did my guests have a total blast in the booth during the evening, but I have blackmail photos for years to come on everyone. Amazing! Photo booths are always good idea and you can see proof of that at the bottom of this post!

DoubleTake Makeup Artistry gave me the "glow" that everyone kept complementing me on all night! Haha I haven't gotten that glow on my own so I enlisted the help of my faves to glam me up and they didn't disappoint! I definitely rocked it out the next day as well (yeah, I'm a dirt ball) but it lasted through the night and I looked fabulous all weekend! These girls are SO talented and you all need to hire them for your next event. No joke.

A1 Event Rentals provided all of the rentals (check out the adorable hot cocoa bar glasses!) and their uplighting was my favorite. It's crazy how just a few little lights shining on the walls completely transform a space! These guys are all amazing to work with and are super professional!

I don't think I'll have to buy diapers for 6 months thanks for my awesome friends! We decided to ask everyone to bring a pack of diapers and then did a really fun raffle. Everyone got to pick which prize they wanted to win and there were 5 different themed baskets to put your name into!

Mieke also took some amazing photos of me and my husband, Kyle! I've generally felt pretty round and just like a human incubator throughout my pregnancy but she captured a really pretty side of me that made me so happy! Now I see the glow! Kyle is going to be such a great dad and I'm so excited to watch him with our son. He's already talking about playing old school Zelda with him and taking him on nature walks. I just want to make sure he has nice table manners and holds the door open for women! He'll be a pretty cool little dude haha

A Year in Review - 2014! | Becca Rillo Photography

I mean - every year I'm floored with the trust that was placed in me by my amazing Brides & Grooms! We've formed friendships that will last a lifetime and I'm so blessed to have them all in my life. It's amazing to be a wedding photographer! I seriously have the best job on the planet (it's true!) and the fact that I get to bear witness to true love all the time is a constant reminder that love conquers all and we need to cherish the moments that really matter. I had the pleasure of photographing 22 incredible weddings this year and this is just a fun little recap of my 2014 couples who, let's be honest, could all be models. No joke!

St. Timothy's Catholic Church & Mountain Gate Country Club Wedding: Jeff & Suranee

Wow. My final wedding of 2014 has come and gone.. crazy! It's been quite a year but I couldn't have chosen a more perfect wedding to end my season with. Jeff & Suranee make my heart sing! The love that the two of them share is so genuine and real - nobody watching them together could deny their chemistry. Their beautiful Catholic/Sri Lankan fusion wedding was so seamless and colorful.. just: swoon. But don't take my word for it.. take a look for yourself! Suranee's aunt is none other than the fabulous Wisteria Lane Floral Design herself and she pulled in all of her favorite vendors to make this day especially magical for this amazing couple. Lovelovelove!

Ready for some rustic glamour? Well, I can't say that I've ever seen a wedding quite so elegant and country as this one right here! I was so excited when Courtnee hired me to photograph her wedding because I had shot her sister's wedding last year (Also super cute and rustic! Check it out here!) and this wedding did not disappoint! The sunflowers and roses could not have been more perfect together and the little subtle horseshoes everywhere were the cutest accents. Courtnee & Brad have the most adorable little girl who made the perfect little jr. flower girl! The details were beautiful and I couldn't have been happier to have been a part of this amazing day.

I met Holly & Bob exactly 5 weeks before their wedding, and they hired me about a week later. It was just fate because I was photographing Holly's brother, Brock (you remember that one, don't you?) and his lovely bride Kelly - and it seemed meant to be! So just a few short weeks after her brother's wedding, Holly walked down the aisle to the man of her dreams and I couldn't be happier that I was invited to be a part of it! She glowed and he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. These two are so goofy together and their chemistry is undeniable! Congrats to the both of you!

St. Catherine Laboure & Rolling Hills Country Club Wedding: David & Christina

Full of beautiful details and personal touches, David and Christina's wedding was a perfect blend of their two lives coming together! Their families danced and celebrated all night long and Christina was absolutely radiant in her gorgeous gown. They couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.. congrats, Lovebirds!

Inn at Sunset Cliffs Wedding: Ashley & Justin

Ashley and Justin's intimate beach affair was so beautiful and personal. Their closest friends and family all gathered on the cliff overlooking the ocean as Ashley walked down the aisle with her dad. After a beautiful reading in memory of Ashley's mother, the two lovebirds exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! Congrats to the newlyweds, your wedding was truly one of a kind and so sweet!
